Rihanna to Launch New ”Rebelle” Fragrance

As the holidays are approaching, celebrity inspired products start to quickly expand, becoming a great Christmas gift for their fans. Besides their popular personalities that always attract lots of media attention and actively gain more and more fans, Katy Perry and Rihanna have one more thing in common, which is they both are producing a new signature fragrance that will be a stunning addition to their first ones. If you liked Rihanna’s Reb’l Fleur fragrance, you certainly would like to try its sister scent, named Rebelle. Find out more details about the perfume’s launch.

If Katy didn’t want to diverge from the feline theme for her Meow fragrance, Rihanna wanted to diversify her scent by coming up with a new idea for her new fragrance. The singer did a survey asking women, if they were more into flowers or rebels, and since 68% of them answered rebels, she decided to develop a more voguish scent for her second perfume. However, this is not all the good news! The scent will be released in early December at Macy’s and Parlux Fragrances Inc. will expand its distribution to Europe and Latin America, so that more Rihanna fans will test the new scent.
The new Rebelle fragrance is something like gourmand chypre with a steady base of patchouli, musk, amber and coffee with interesting core consisting of cacao absolute, vanilla orchid and heliotrope blended with strawberry, ginger and plum as its top notes.
As for the bottle design, Rihanna’s Rebelle is mainly a new variation of the Rebl’ Fleur’s flacon, created of transparent glass and red and gold surfaces.
Riri is already preparing the ad campaign for her new fragrance, for which she turned to the people, she trusts most of all, like Anthony Mandler, her music video director.
Prices for Rebelle fragrance will be as follows: $49 for a 1.7-oz. eau de parfum spray, $59 for 3.4-oz. version and $30 for a 6.7-oz. body lotion. For the Macy’s fragrance launch, Rebelle will come with a special package consisting of Rihanna’s new CD, a 3.4-oz. Rebelle and a 3.4-oz. Reb’l Fleur ($118), which will drop Monday, that is tomorrow.
